Through personal, social, health and economic education (PSHE), we aim for pupils to become healthy, independent and responsible members of society now and in the future.
School values and British values permeate our whole curriculum. We provide opportunities to develop positive personal attributes and promote empathy of those with different faiths and beliefs in order for pupils to become fair, tolerant and confident adults in a forever challenging world.
PSHE teaching enables pupils to understand how they are developing personally, socially and emotionally; addressing and managing many of the moral, social and cultural issues that are part of growing up.
Pupils learn about rights and responsibilities and appreciate what it means to be a member of a diverse society in the wider world. Our pupils develop their sense of self-worth by playing a positive role and contributing to school life and the wider community through following the values of The St. George’s Way.
